This is the third time Owen has worked on my wrist. The pain developed through practicing of the martial arts. I had pain in my right writs towards the medial side underneath my thumb adjacent to my radius bone’s origin. It was a sharp twinge of a pain that would result when I would tighten the muscles in gripping and applying pressure to the area if it were to hold weight, like in a push up position. On the first visit Owen discovered that the pain’s root was not where the local pain was at all, but that the problem lied in my middle chest area. He concluded that the pain I felt in my wrist was a result of poor form in push up’s, or jumping into heavy exercise too fast without stretching and allowing the muscles to adjust. I had seen a physical therapist for the same diagnosis and they had told me no such thing, they suggested I had a problem with a loose bone in my wrist. When the Physical Therapist had worked on it, it would initially feel better and then immediately go back into the problematic feelings of the wrist. So it felt the only way to get better was the see the Physical Therapist constantly and remove myself from my competitive training. I did not want to stop training, nor did I want to keep going to a Therapist who would only make me feel better when I was there. After the first visit with Owen, my wrist felt completely better. It was almost surreal but I could apply pressure to it and continue light training. The second visit had even more results in where I felt as if the injury had never existed and heavy training could continue, as it did. And the third visit was more of a preventative one where we strengthened it, to reinforce the area. I have had this problem almost a year now and with Owen the only word that comes to mind would have to be miracle. It is remarkable the results I have seen with him on this particular diagnosis. I will record some of the feelings I experienced during his unique energy-healing portion of his treatment, where he stirs his Dan Tien and sends energy to my problem area and me: The portion lasts only 10-15 minutes, and during this time a broad arrangement of slight changes occurred in me. Initially I get an overwhelming feeling of sleepiness, and this continued through the work but I would slowly begin to wake up towards the end. I have a terrible time sleeping, I have insomnia and I don’t actually fall asleep when Owen works on me, I just hit a state of feeling rested, which is very rare for me. I love it. My right arm up to the shoulder began to feel tighter, only slightly and the wrist began to lightly pulsate and a small ache would occur. I told Owen this and he smiled and said “that is the energy pushing on the problem area locally.” As if there was a kink in my wrist and the energy was wrenches and other tools attempted to fix it. Tingling in my hand and fingers would occur and it was obvious something was going on because of the temperature change that was happening in both of my arms mainly on the focus of the right arm and wrist. They became quickly warm and stayed that way most of the treatment. Each energy treatment with me on the wrist has been generally the same. I usually feel most or all of these above feelings, which is very remarkable to me because it is such a non-tangible thing. How can he make all of these slight almost unnoticeable micro-changes in my body each time? Never the less it is quite impressive and has results.
