Tom Tam's Chronological History

1950: Born in Tai Shan, China.

1975: Came to the United States as a political refugee .

1982: Started an acupuncture practice - currently Tom has treated more than 10,000 patients.

1985: Became a student of Gin Soon Zhu, the fifth generation master of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan.

1987: Founded Boston Chi Gong Center and started training students. Currently, Tom has trained more than one thousand students.

1988: Founded Oriental Culture Institute.

1988: Organized the Boston Chi Gong Delegation to China.

1993: Published Tai Chi DaoYin.

1994: Published Yi Jin Jing.

1994: Published Lao Tzu, Dao De Jing.

1995: Published Tom Tam’s Healing System.

1996: Awarded Official Resolution by the Boston City Council in recognition of achievements and services in Tai Chi Chuan.

1996: Published Pi Gu: The Way of Chi Gong Fasting.

1997: Published For the Love of Nature - Poetry.

1998: Published New Hope on the Horizon.

1998: Published Metamorphosis.

1998: Published The Unfinished Life.

1998: Published Tong Ren Therapy.

2000: Published Da Peng Gong.

2001: Published Tong Ren for Cancer.
